On the morning of September 25, Ky Hoa Medical Center carried out the charity program “Hearts of Love” (Trái Tim Yêu Thương) at Linh Xuân Children's Shelter in Thu Duc District. The program is one of Ky Hoa Medical Center's meaningful, practical activities aimed at giving back to the community and contributing to society. We hope the program brings some comfort to these young souls, who were born into less fortunate circumstances.
Early that morning, doctors and nurses from Ky Hoa Medical Center, joined by Dr. Võ Thanh Đạm, General Director, arrived at the Linh Xuân shelter. During the program, hundreds of gift packages containing school supplies, books and clothing were handed directly to the orphaned and disabled children living at Linh Xuân Children's Shelter. Alongside the gift-giving, the children also received health check-ups from the doctors and free medication from Ky Hoa Medical Center.
Since founding Ky Hoa Medical Center in 2007, and throughout his many years in medicine, Dr. Võ Thanh Đạm, General Director, has been guided by a single abiding question: how to join hands with the community to help build a thriving society. Within the “For the Community” (Vì cộng đồng) series of activities organized by Ky Hoa Medical Center, the “Hearts of Love” charity program carries special significance, as it is the first charity program the center has dedicated to children. In the future, Ky Hoa Medical Center plans to expand the program to other provinces and cities across the country, and looks forward to the growing participation and support of benefactors.
